Jacob “Jake” Robison—known online as Mister Jake, MRJK, or MisterJK—is an independent producer and songwriter whose work is built on honesty, imperfection, and humanity.

Based in Austin, Texas, Jake’s creative obsession started at twelve after hearing Norah Jones: a moment he describes as “watching emotion get trapped in a digital box forever.” That fascination with sound as both fleeting and eternal became the cornerstone of everything he creates.

The name MRJK is a tribute, honoring his computer teacher, Mr. Camp (“MR”) who introduced him to production, and Jake (“JK”): the student who never stopped experimenting. His studio is a museum of trials, failures, and quiet victories.

“Every imperfection in my songs pushes the notion forward about how human they are: a little broken, sometimes a little old and covered in dust, but they never stop being themselves.”
